Set within a typical gated community near preservation areas, Casa Vista was designed as a place of rest and connection for an entire family, embracing the cooler, fresher air of the mountainous region of Espírito Santo. Overlooking both the community’s green areas and the Pedra Azul State Park, the house uses the structural rigidity of reinforced concrete to establish a dialogue with the green surroundings and conventional mountain architecture. Featuring a ribbed roof slab that allows for wide spans, integrating the social areas while offering a brutalist and minimalist ambiance, the house features well-defined spaces. It seeks isolation for the private areas while fostering a direct integration between the kitchen, coffee room, and living room, maintaining views of the landscape to the rear, side, and front.
