The Tree House (Casa da Árvore) is the newest addition to the family of narrow, deep buildings on Rua Pedro Álvares Cabral, a street opened in late 19th-century Porto. The building occupies a plot where a leafy tree once stood, camouflaging an old warehouse. The design evokes the memory of that tree, which was removed to allow construction to proceed deep into the lot.
