Text description provided by the architects. For this 200-square-meter (approx. 2,150-square-foot) apartment in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, we designed a freijó wood slatted panel with alternating directions that spans the entire living room wall, becoming the project's centerpiece. The panel consists of 10 leaves, three of which open to the kitchen—allowing for full integration with the dining room—while another opens to the powder room. As a result, the kitchen and pantry can fully merge with the dining and living spaces. When the doors are closed, they form a seamless, continuous panel running along the perimeter of the living areas.
