Text description provided by the architects. A couple asked us to design a house on an urban lot in the Luciano Cavalcante neighborhood, in the southeastern region of Fortaleza. The plot, measuring approximately 12.50m by 34.50m, was purchased together with another family member, who would also build their house on the same lot. This presented two challenges: first, the physical constraints of the project, as we had just over 6m of frontage to occupy; second, the second house would be based on the first, but with variations to be incorporated by the owner, who would not live in the residence but rent it out.
