The party, the strange, and the public space

This publication is a device of the Fiestas Raras (Queer Parties) project, a contribution aimed at opening new lines of flight regarding the queer, the party, and public space. It brings together voices and reflections on the potential of thinking about public space from a non-normative perspective—viewing the queer as a form of tension against the canonical, and the party as a mechanism for encounter through which to weave alliances.

This publication is a festive gathering of texts; it is not linear, but rather a collection of lines of flight and parallel readings that intersect and diverge, weaving connections and transitions between the party, the non-normative, and public space.
