Vila Plural hosts free exhibition by Ricardo Negro

Vila Plural, the country's first creative entertainment hub, is hosting the "Comunidade" exhibition by visual artist Ricardo Negro on the second floor of Shopping Vila Olímpia. The exhibition is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The show features approximately 30 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and posters. Furthermore, an Instagrammable panel featuring an exclusive painting makes the exhibition even more interactive.

Visual artist Ricardo Negro was born in Capão Redondo, in the southern zone of São Paulo. The son of migrants from the Chapada Diamantina region in Bahia, he was introduced to the art world in 2004 through graffiti. He earned a degree in Visual Arts in 2009 and has since focused his research on the daily life of Brazil's peripheral neighborhoods, with communities serving as the central theme of his work.
