
The Maria da Penha Institute (IMP) is hosting the 1st Brazilian Forum on Combating Domestic Violence (FBEVD) this November.
The two-day event features panels discussing amendments to the Maria da Penha Law, racism and the lethality of violence against Black women, and best practices for addressing domestic violence in the corporate sector.
As part of its strategy to expand its educational outreach, the Maria da Penha Institute (IMP) is launching the 1st Brazilian Forum on Combating Domestic Violence (FBEVD). Aiming to establish a permanent space for debate, coordination, and technical cooperation to combat domestic and family violence against women, the inaugural edition of the FBEVD will take place on November 20 and 21 in Fortaleza (CE), the city where the IMP is headquartered.
