The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Universidad Finis Terrae will launch the second issue of Revista Archipiélago, an academic publication that seeks to disseminate new knowledge related to various artistic disciplines. This issue focuses on "distance," a crucial theme for our times and for the fields of space and design, explored through three thematic axes: Design Critique, Design Processes, and Logbook.
As part of the launch, National Architecture Prize winner Teodoro Fernández will deliver the lecture "Quinta Normal: The Invention of a Landscape," in which he will discuss the remodeling of this space in Santiago. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 6, at 7:00 PM at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Universidad Finis Terrae (Pedro de Valdivia 1224, Providencia). Additionally, the event will be broadcast simultaneously via Zoom for those who register at this link.
