Diploma in Additive Design and Construction

Applications are now open for a specialized training program in the application of new design and additive construction technologies, particularly using cementitious mixtures for building. The program aims to leverage the potential of 3D printing in architecture, urban furniture, and infrastructure, drawing on the expertise and facilities of the Universidad del Bío-Bío, a leader in this field in Latin America.

The program is open to university-level and/or higher technical professionals in various fields of engineering, architecture, and construction sciences, including: Construction Engineers and Technicians, Civil Builders, Architects, Industrial Designers, Civil Engineers, Execution Engineers, or Technicians in Civil Works, Structures, Mechanics, and Automation. Applicants should have a grasp of basic computer applications and general construction processes, as well as proficiency in Spanish.

The program consists of 120 direct hours, plus 60 hours of independent or group work, featuring evening online sessions and an intensive laboratory practice.
