Tallinn Architecture Biennale TAB 2026 Installation Programme Competition "Budget Bougie"

TAB 2026 Installation Programme Competition invites architects to rethink luxury through the lens of limited resources

The Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2026, TAB 2026 (tab.ee), which will take place from 9 September to 30 November 2026 (Opening Week: September 9th – 13th, 2026), launches its Installation Programme Competition: "Budget Bougie", following the recently announced Vision Competition, "From Void to Value".

With a submission deadline on April 29th, 2026, the Installation Competition (download the competition brief at this link: https://2026.tab.ee/competitions/installation-competition/) challenges participants to design a temporary outdoor pavilion in front of the Estonian Museum of Architecture, located in Tallinn's historic Rotermann district at the edge of the Old Town. Housed in the former Rotermann Salt Storage, the museum sits along a lively pedestrian route connecting the harbour and the city centre, within an area that has undergone significant urban development over the past decade.
