The Masterplan Exhibition 2025

CP Kukreja Foundation for Design Excellence presents The Masterplan Exhibition, celebrating 50 years of the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus designed by architect C.P. Kukreja. Conceived in the early 1970s, JNU stands as a symbol of India’s democratic spirit and its aspirations for inclusive education.

The exhibition brings together archival drawings, models, immersive visuals, texts, and a documentary film to narrate how the campus redefined ideas of space, ecology, and community in post-independence India. Visitors will also experience a guided tour of the CP Kukreja Architects office and attend an interaction with Ar. Dikshu C. Kukreja, who will share insights into the making of The Masterplan and its continued relevance today.

This initiative is being supported by the NASA India (National Association of Students of Architecture) further strengthening its impact and engagement with the next generation of architects.
