EDGE Architecture Festival Budapest

EDGE Architecture Festival Budapest (EDGE Fest) is Hungary's first international architecture festival, organized by Építészfórum, Hungary's leading architectural online magazine. Taking place on 3–4 July 2025 at Dürer Kert, the festival highlights progressive, forward-thinking architectural topics within a global context.

What does it mean to be an architect in 2025? What new challenges are emerging, and how are ongoing social, ecological, and technological shifts reshaping the profession? What defines the aesthetics of our time, and what do new formal experiments reveal about our cultural values?

Is building still necessary - and if so, in what form, with what tools, and for whom? What might future societies look like, and how can architecture respond to their evolving needs? How can structures designed for permanence remain relevant in a world of constant change? And what possibilities open up when architects take today's pressing issues seriously?
